Stay in Timeless Elegance

Twelve Suites of Character & Charm…

For over 150 years, The Highfield has been welcoming guests to rest, explore, and escape amidst the beauty of the East Yorkshire countryside.

Reimagined by owners and architects Andy & Lindsey Lampard, HIGHFIELD is a celebration of contemporary heritage. Every room has been thoughtfully curated—where antiques meet modern craftsmanship, and bespoke wallpapers and textiles complement the intricate details of this listed building’s original architecture.

But this is no ordinary country retreat—there’s not a whiff of chintz or predictable plaid in sight.

Each suite is a world of its own, designed with indulgent comfort in mind. Expect the finest beds, elegant furnishings, and luxurious touches throughout. No two are the same—each draws on a different chapter of the house’s remarkable past.

From 1610, with its four-poster bed, roll-top bath, and hidden Batman motifs in the custom wallpaper, to Yes Mallard, a playful homage to British rail complete with its own train set… From the baronial grandeur of Gramercy, to the soft, retro embrace of Sketch—every suite tells its own story.

The only challenge? Choosing your favourite.
